Jeff Schettler is the TTT founder and training coordinator.  He is a retired police K9 handler and has worked for the Alameda Police Department, Amador County Sheriff's Department, and was attached to the FBI's K-9 Assistance Program designed to apprehend high risk fugitives.  Jeff is considered and expert witness in the areas of scent evidence and trailing.


Kelli began her career working with her own dog in obedience and protection training in 1995. In 2004 she graduated from National K9® as a Certified Professional Trainer. Kelli is a police officer for the City of Milton, GA. Her certifications include: Puppy Development, Breed Identification, Dog Behavior, Basic and Advanced Obedience, Retrieval Training, Utility Training, Trailing and Scent Discrimination, Personal Protection Training, Police Service Dog Training, and Narcotics Detection.


Matt Broad has been a law enforcement officer for over 10 years and currently works with the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office in California as a Detective and K9 handler with his Bloodhound Morgan.  Deputy Broad has been a K9 handler for over three years and has several finds under his belt.  Deputy Broad recently appeared on Mythbusters, wherein he and his hound were put to, and passed, the tests created by the shows two hosts.  Deputy Broad has adopted a conservative approach that will benefit any tracking/trailing K9 team.  Deputy Broad believes that he is constantly learning and growing as a handler.  He is eager to teach what has worked for him, but is always open to other methodologies and training techniques.


Coby Webb is a sergeant for the Riverside County Sheriff's Department and is the agencies bloodhound handler and trainer.  Coby and her K-9's are responsible for numerous criminal and missing person finds in their area.  She has produced a California Peace Officer Standards and Training certified K-9 Trailing Course and she is considered and expert handler, trainer and witness in a variety of K-9 disciplines.


A twenty-three year police officer currently assigned as a Detective in the Criminal Investigations Division for the last 11 years. Prior to his current assignment, Mark was a Field Training Officer for eight years. He is a member of SWAT and is also a firearms instructor, and a police academy instructor. Mark also holds the Master Peace Officer Certification from the State of Texas.  Mark is a K-9 Handler/trainer for the City of Port Arthur, Texas Police Department. Involved in many high profile cases the United States, Mark has worked major cases assisting the FBI, U.S. Marshall’s Office, Texas Rangers, and other federal, state, county and local law enforcement agencies. As a canine handler, he has also been called upon to assist the U.S. State Department, the United States Consulates Office and the Mexican Consulates Office. Holmes has assisted on numerous federal and state prison escapes.
Mark was the recipient of the 2002 Sophia Silva Award given for excellence in canine mantrailing, which led to the saving of a human life. Mark is a nationally recognized canine mantrailing instructor and founded and is the president of both Texas Bloodhound Search and Rescue and the United States Mantrailing Association. Mark has taught canine mantrailing courses throughout the United States and has authored/ co-authored numerous training articles relating to canine mantrailing and scent specific canine training.



Kevin Baughn began training bloodhounds in Oct. of 1999.  He worked as a San
Jose Police Canine handler with his bloodhound partner "Zack" from 9/00 -
3/06.  He has trained in Virginia, Texas, Colorado, and throughout
California.  Kevin and Zack worked urban cases throughout the Bay Area..
Kevin has testified in court on bloodhound cases ranging from stolen cars to
homicides.  Kevin and Zack have worked with and received letters of
commendation from FBI, ATF, and local departments throughout the bay area.
Kevin has worked with handlers from Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office, San
Mateo Sheriff's Office, Fresno County Sheriff's Office, Oakland Police
Department, and several more agencies at "Urban Manhunters School" passing
along trailing techniques that been proven successful.  Kevin also instructs
a P.O.S.T. approved course "Using Bloodhounds to search for Missing
Persons."



Gordon Wood retired from the Santa Clara Sheriff’s Office after over 31 years as a law enforcement officer. Gordon’s last patrol K-9, Ulli, was an exceptional German Shepherd incredibly effective in trailing.  Gordon and Ulli were an early example of patrol service dog teams cross-trained in the trailing discipline.  Their training techniques are currently used to train other patrol service dogs around the United States.  After retirement, Gordon and Ulli went on to work as an Explosive Detection Team in private practice.


Steve was the manager of the DoD Combat Tracking Team training in Camp Jejune, Ft. Carson and 29 Palms in 2006.  Primary Visual Tracker and Tactical Trainer for both of those Combat Tracker Team pilot courses. Was contracted by DoD to develop and improve the older TTOS methodologies that I had helped to develop as one of the independent instructors and profit sharing partners of TTOS.  As ASF chief instructor supervised and trained assistant tracking instructors.  Conducted Combat and Tactical Tracking training for Special Operations soldiers, Marines and SWAT officers for seven years as part of ASF and TTOS.  Army units included 1st, 3rd, 7th and 10th Special Forces teams, Ranger Regimental Recon units, and other Joint military elements.  Marine Jungle Warfare Training Center Instructors and personnel from the Recon BN in Okinawa were trained in addition to classes given to Marines at Camp Pendleton.

Pam Medhurst has been with the San Diego Sheriff's Search and Rescue Bureau for 11 years. She has been the Canine Unit leader for 2 years.  Always a lover of hounds, Pam first trained and worked a bloodhound, and now uses slightly smaller hounds, beagles. She has had great success with " Snickers" the beagle in trailing along with her 3 other beagles in trailing and Human Remains Detection work.  Pam has gained experience as an instructor at several schools including  the Canine Training Academy in Colorado. She has written and performs a program for children called " Don't Run Around, Stay Found " that she takes to schools throughout the state. Pam has received the San Diego Sheriff's Deputy of the year  award for 2000, 2004, and 2006. She has also received The Outstanding Community Service Award from Lieutenant Governor Cruz Bustamante, and the 2007 Search and Rescue Member of the Year from the Calif. Reserve Peace Officer's Association.
